Temporary Change to Our Smash Room Packages: Electronics Removed for Legal Compliance
At Smash Room Prague, our top priority has always been your safety, the quality of the experience, and full compliance with Czech laws.
Because of recent legal requirements related to the handling of electrical waste, we are temporarily making an important update to our services.
Why We Are Removing Electronics for Now
Czech legislation defines very strict rules for handling, processing, and disposing of electrical and electronic equipment. As a Smash Room, we are not classified as an authorized facility for processing electronic waste — which means we temporarily cannot offer electronics (TVs, monitors, printers, microwaves, etc.) as part of the smashing materials.
Until these matters are fully resolved with the authorities, and until we have clear rules ensuring everything is 100% compliant, we must remove all electronics from our packages.
This decision is temporary, but necessary.
We do not want to risk violating the law or putting our customers, partners, or staff into a legally complicated situation.
What You Can Smash Instead
Don't worry — your rage session will still be powerful and satisfying.
Instead of electronics, our rooms now feature:
More glass items (plates, bottles, jars, ceramics)
Durable household items
Furniture pieces (small cabinets, drawers, shelves, etc.)
Other safe, non-electronic breakables
We are constantly adding new, creative items that remain fully in compliance with Czech legislation.
Can You Bring Your Own Item to Smash? Yes — With Rules
If you want to bring your own item (for example: old vase, plate set, wooden chair, decorations), you can smash it here under these conditions:
The item cannot be electronic or contain any electronic parts.
You remain the official "původce odpadu" (waste originator).
You must take all remaining waste with you when leaving the Smash Room.
This includes every piece, shard, or material originating from your item.
We will pack the waste into a sturdy bag for you to take away.
This way, you legally keep responsibility for your waste and we do not become the waste handler — which keeps everything fully compliant.
